La Plage reviews
La Plage, Trinité Sur Mer, Brittany, France
Stayed here at the start of July, so it wasn’t too busy, and was often very peaceful and quiet. The campsite has been well cared for and was very clean and tidy. It’s also right next to the beach, and there’s a restaurant near the edge that does fantastic seafood. We had a great relaxed holiday, and will definetly be coming back.
This is one of the few parks we have visited that is great for families of all ages. We have a 4 year old, 7 year old and 10 year old. The pools are fantastic, very modern and clean and even have a retractable roof which is ideal on the one day that was overcast. The kids loved the slides and me and the wife enjoyed the sauna however it was rather small so we had to wait every now and then for a dip. We was however charged for a pool pass per person, you get the €2 pp back but suppose it’s only in place to discourage any outsiders using it. Entertainment in the evening was varied and most acts spoke English. The Kids enjoyed the Friday night disco’s which was well run and even the Eurocamp couriers would join in. The best point about this site is it’s location directly onto a lovely beach with fantastic sand dunes acting as a great barrier for windy days.
Locally there is plenty of tourist attractions to see but I would highly recommend the Festival des Ramparts which is a medieval show with jousting , knights on horse back, and very comical jesters (however it is only on once a year mid July).
I would definitely recommend Camping de la plage for all ages, a gem of a campsite and certainly one of the best I have been to.
Nice and quiet campsite, and it’s right next to the beach. The shop does excellent fresh bread, although if you want to do a full shop, you’ll need a car to go to the supermarket. A great campsite.
