Les Mouettes reviews
Our second time here and the kids adore this campsite. The pools are large and kept very clean with plenty of slides to zap the kids energy throughout the day. The lazy river was good fun too. The evening entertainment was especially good with a disco and live act most nights from magic shows to singers and dancers. The campsite owners are very friendly and our Canvas mobile home was very clean and spacious. Last year we stayed in a smaller mobile home with Keycamp who where almost double the price. Canvas had a better plot with more space and a cleaner spec.
We stayed here end of July through to August, we spent most of our holiday on site and only really left to get supplies from the supermarket. The pools are great and the lazy river was nice to relax in. Kids loved the slides – even the vertical drop one! The entertainment was good, especially the live music. The restaurant was ok. The entire campsite is really clean, tidy and spacious. We would love to go back again, as it was one of the best holidays we’ve ever had.
Just got back from a two week holiday at Le Mouettes. We stayed in a tent (eurocamp tent, not our own) which was spacious than I had imagined it would be. Before we set out on our holiday, eurocamp sent us a pack, which had useful items such as a map, beach bag and games for the children which was a nice touch. The pool complex was fantastic and was open until quite late unlike a lot of campsites we have stayed at were they usually close before 7pm. There is also a bar next to it, which was great as you can have a drink and still keep an eye on the kids. There are lots of nice coastal walks, which I would definitely recommend doing. The camp shop sells a selection of food and essentials, but I would recommend going to one of the local supermarkets instead as you’d get better value for your money (Super U near St Paol was very cheap) The evening entertainment was good and lively, with magic shows, dancing etc. the local are is lovely, the closest beach is just outside the campsite, which has some rock pools that the kids loved exploring. We had a fab holiday and I would definitely recommend this campsite.
Our first impressions when we arrived at Les Mouettes were good. The campsite was quiet, clean, well kept and the staff that greeted us was welcoming and friendly. The views were great and the campsite felt spacious. However, on the downside, the food in the restaurant was horrible, the bar and shop were overpriced, and the canvas reps were useless.
We stayed at Les Mouettes in June and had a good holiday. The best thing at this campsite is the pool and slides, which all of our family (age range 6-52) enjoyed. We travelled with Canvas holidays, and I could not fault our mobile home or service. I have never booked with Canvas before so this was a pleasant surprise. The local area is nice, and there are lots of great walks. The campsites own shop is a bit overpriced, so we did our food shop at the supermarket in St Paol de Leon. The restaurant at the campsite was a bit of a let down, so we ended up cooking our own food in the mobile home (which had a fridge, freezer, grill and microwave, the only thing missing was a toaster!). I would definitely recommend Les Mouettes and Canvas holidays.
