Les Biches reviews
We travelled here in June with Canvas Holidays and they were excellent. The reps were always available and their childrens clubs were well organised and well run.
The resort itself is very good with a relaxed atmosphere, very spacious, clean and tidy and has everything you will need, including a huge range of on site activities. It is also perfectly situated for the various surrounding beaches, beautiful villages and towns and all other attractions. The only let down is the severe lack of evening entertainment at night which is run by the campsite owners. The bar is very basic and a bit pricey but the restaurant, which is more like a pizzeria, offers nice food at a fair price. The local supermarkets are much cheaper so we opted for self catering in the static caravan most nights We opted for the millennium static caravan with Canvas and it was superb, clean and very spacious.
Overall this is, a great place to relax and explore. Thoroughly recommended and ideal for families with children
Excellent facilities. Pool was great. Campsite is not too far from the beach. Oceanile water park is worth a visit, as is the safari park (can’t remember it’s name). Variety of sports activities to do at the campsite (badminton, football, tennis and more) there is also a free gym at the back of the site. The shop and restaurant are expensive, but the takeaway is reasonably priced. Evening entertainment consists of a disco.
Recently returned from our Canvas holiday at Les Biches. We have two children aged 12 and 6. Our youngest absolutely loved the hippo club. Overall the campsite was good, although some parts were beginning to look old, the mini golf in particular looked in desperate need of a lick of paint. Beaches are about a 10 minute drive away.
We stayed here in June, and the weather was unbelievably hot! It was a great campsite. The mini golf looked in need of some tlc, but the pool was fantastic. Kids clubs was also good. The local beaches were clean and weren’t too busy. St Gilles is very pretty and definitely worth a visit.
Great campsite, ideal for families. We booked through eurocamp and they were excellent. The couriers were always available and their kids clubs were well organised and plenty of fun for the kids. The campsite is spacious and kept very clean, and has everything you need for a great holiday, including loads of onsite activities. The campsite is well located, as it is close to several beaches and pretty towns and villages. The only thing that disappointed us about Les Bitches campsite was the lack of evening entertainment, and there is only one bar, which was overpriced, and the pizza restaurant was equally expensive. Our overall experience was good though, and I would definitely recommend this campsite.
