Fornella reviews

Spent 8 days at camping Fornella. A tidy clean site with two nice pools however one was rather cold. Evening entertainment included animation and a disco for children on weekend nights. Very cheap good little restaurant just outside the campsite. Campsite restaurant had a varied menu but was more expensive. We visited Salo which was lovely, Pechiera that had nice shops, the theme parks, and a day trip to Venice. Would definetly visit this area of Italy again as there was so much to do for us and the kids.

The campsite is a nice size with a relaxed atmosphere. It wasn't too overcrowded (even the pools had spare loungers in the day) and it had enough fun facilities to keep the kids entertained. We stayed in a large caravan which was modern, clean and looked new. We used the air conditioning alot as it did tend to get hot in the day. The caravan had decking and a patio heater which was good for our al fresco evening dining which we always love on these types of holidays. Don't have many negatives for this campsite, would suggest it is for younger kids than teenagers, and we tended to shop at the lidl supermarket which was cheaper for meat products ect than the local shop. You can travel by bus and boat across most of Lake Garda so no real need for an expensive hire car. We loved this area and would certainly return to the Lakes again.
