Lido Camping Village reviews
Large campsite with decent sized pitches. Very family orientated campsite that made us feel welcome. Lots of activities and good sized swimming pools as well as a lake. All the usual amenities like shop, restaurant etc. Good night time entertainment too. Thoroughly recommend this campsite.
In a great location, loads to see and do, both at campsite and in the areas around it. Campsite is large, but generally well kept. Staff were helpful and friendly. Mobile home we stayed in was smaller than we thought it was going to be, but we didn’t mind in the end, as we didn’t actually spend much time in it. Entertainment, restaurant and shop were all good. Main swimming pool is large, plenty of sun loungers, and a huge lake with a variety of water type activities. Top marks!
We had a great holiday at Lido, and we were blessed with fantastic weather. Lots to do at this campsite. The lake is the hub of most of the activities. There are also two swimming pools if you don’t fancy a dip in the lake. Restaurant and takeaway were fab, pizzas were ginormous! Evening entertainment was fun, with discos and live bands. Staff were really friendly. A day trip to Rome (although tiring) is a must. It’s about 60 miles away, but is easily accessible by train. 10/10!
We stayed at Lido Camping Village for 10 days in the middle of June. The campsite was relatively quiet as it was only about a quarter full. We choose to come to this campsite mainly because we wanted to visit Rome but didn’t want to stay there as it would have cost a fortune! But equally we didn’t want to stay in some cheap hell hole, so the compromise was this four star campsite.
We stayed in a great Suncamp mobile home, which really was a home away from home, had everything you needed like an oven and fridge etc. The campsite itself was great, it’s a very big campsite, but it was easy to find our way around. The facilities were good, as were the pools, but the lake was the favourite with our children! The restaurant at the campsite was surprisingly good and wasn’t overly expensive, unlike the shop. If we ever wanted to see Rome again, we would definitely stay at this campsite.
A fantastic campsite in Lake Bolsena. The campsite is large, but it still has a great atmosphere, and the staff are brilliant. There are two swimming pools with plenty of sun loungers around them. Whilst we were there the pool was nice and quiet, but I would imagine that it would get busy in the summer months. There is also direct access to the beautiful lake, which you are allowed to swim in. You can also do various water sports (book at reception) as well as fishing. There are two tennis courts, but we didn’t use them, so I’m not sure if they charge you or not. The campsite restaurant is amazing, the food is fabulous and the pizzas are the largest I have ever seen in my life! The onsite shop is well stocked, but a little over priced. I would definitely recommend a day trip to Rome, which is not too far away.
