Park Albatros
location: Italy, Tuscany
Surrounded by the Maremma pine forest and set in over 30 acres, this large campsite is a family favourite.
This campsite is one of Tuscany’s largest, so as you can imagine, it has lots of activities on offer to keep all of its guests happy! These include volleyball, football, boules and table tennis. There are 5 different swimming pools for all different ages, including lagoon pools and waterslides. The play area and children’s club are also popular.
There is a mini supermarket and bakery, as well as a souvenir shop. If you prefer to eat out, there is a restaurant and takeaway on offer, as well as a great bar to help you unwind at the end of the day. The beach is a short 15 minute walk away and there is also a bus service to San Vincenzo.
Lido Camping Village
location: Italy, Tuscany
Lido Camping Village is an excellent parc with an adjoining lakeside beach. Set on the borders of both Tuscany and Umbria, it offers the ideal location for exploring.
Recently voted the cleanest in Italy, Lake Bolsena is a national treasure, ideal for swimming, windsurfing, sunbathing, or simply walking around.
The Lido Camping Village park itself is attractively laid out too, with facilities which include a lakeside restaurant with outside terrace, where weekend discos are held in high season; as well as a new sports complex. Beyond the parc, the town of Bolsena is a pleasant 2km stroll away, while for the more adventurous, the eternal city of Rome is just 100 autostrada kilometres from the parc, with Florence, Siena, Perugia and Assisi also within comfortable reach for day trips. The medieval clifftop town of Orvieto is nearby too, and a definite ‘must see’ while you are in this most beautiful and historic area.
Norcenni Girasole Club

Located in the heart of the beautiful Chianti region, this park is a great base for sight seeing!
Set amidst the Tuscan hills, the park offers a lovely country atmosphere with activities for everyone. The Norcenni Girasole Club holiday park feels a bit like a resort, as the main square contains most of the restaurants, a bar, wine cellar, ice cream parlour, takeaway, supermarket, bazaar, and a children’s playground.
There are loads of activities to keep the whole family busy, such as tennis, football, horse riding, volleyball and table tennis. Norcenni Girasole Club also has a gym, massage & beauty parlour and play area. They even do cookery lessons and wine tasting! There are 4 bars, 3 restaurants, 2 snack bars, pizzeria/takeaway, ice-cream parlour, shopping bazaar, 2 supermarkets, a hairdresser and clothes shop! As well as the activities on offer, the park can arrange excursions to places like Lucca, Pisa, Sienna, Florence and Rome!

Parco delle Piscine

Fantastic park, ideally located for sightseeing, with some excellent facilities to keep the family entertained.
The holiday park is located on the Sarteano plateau, over 500 metres above sea level, in a shaded location surrounded by the beautiful Tuscan hills. Parco delle Piscine has a very relaxed atmosphere, so it’s great if you got little ones with you.
There are three great swimming pools and a giant whirlpool! Parco delle Piscine has a number of activities on offer such as tennis, Football, table tennis and volleyball. There is a children’s playground and the park also runs its own great children’s clubs too! Parco delle Piscine also has a small shop, restaurant, takeaway and poolside bar! The park can also arrange excursions to museums and other sites of historical interest

Baia Domizia
location: Italy, Tuscany
A stunning park in a pine forest setting, close to many tourist attractions.
Surrounded by palm trees and greenery, the three swimming pools are large, relaxing but also great fun! Aside from the great pools, there are loads of activities on offer at Baia Domizia such as football, volleyball, basketball and tennis. You can even take part in the aerobics classes, use the aquagym, and take dancing or windsurfing lessons! On top of that, there are also three different playgrounds for children of all ages. Oh, and I forgot to mention that Baia Domizia also has direct access to the beach!
The park has some great facilities, such as a number of restaurants, bars, takeaways and shops. There is even a large supermarket, so you’ll never go hungry! As Baia Domizia park has everything you need, you wouldn’t need to leave the park for your whole holiday, but as the park can easily arrange excursions to places like Naples, Pompeii, Capri, Rome and Vesuvius, we have a felling you will want to get out and about!
I pini holiday park
location: Italy, Tuscany (Vicinity of Rome)
Popular holiday park for young families, with average facilities, just 22 miles from Rome!
This relatively quiet holiday park is set in the splendid scenery of the Tiber Valley. There are two modest swimming pools at the park (more suited to kids splashing around rather than for serious swimming). As this park is in a relatively rural area, you may find you’ll get more out of your holiday if you hire a car.
There are also a number of activities to keep your children busy at I pini, such as football, tennis, bike hire, table tennis and pony trekking. I Pini park offers evening entertainment in high season, as well as a restaurant, snack bar and grocery shop.
Camping Village Fabulous
location: Italy, Tuscany (Vicinity of Rome)
Superb family holiday park, with loads of facilities, amazing location and close proximity to Rome, which are all the ingredients you need for the perfect holiday!
Sitting with 70 acres of alpine trees, this pretty holiday park has something for every member of your family. There are 15 (yes 15!) tennis courts, a five-a-side football pitch, 4 swimming pools (one with a waterslide), table tennis, children’s playground and a jacuzzi. Camping Fabulous runs it’s own children’s club in June, July and August, and there is even an entertainment team who organise activities and nights with cabaret shows and live music!
The Camping Fabulous park also has a pizzeria (this is the home of pizza after all!), restaurant, snack bar, BBQ area and a supermarket, so if you wanted to, you wouldn’t need to leave the Camping Fabulous park for your whole holiday, but with Rome only a 30 minute drive away, we think you will anyway!
