Les Pecheurs reviews
We had a wonderful holiday here. Lovely and quiet campsite, good facilities, nice swimming pools, shop and restaurant were handy. Beaches are outstanding on the coast and not that far away. 8/10 for this campsite
Visited Les Pecheurs down in the Riviera in August and had a nice time however won't be returning as the campsite wasn’t lively enough for my children. I have a 14 year old daughter and 16 year old Son. There was plenty of activities on the site but my kids are used to busier sites with more children their age. The swimming pools are really well cared for and have warm water, which is not always the case on some past campsites we have visited. The coast is easily reachable and has wonderful beaches where we stayed for the majority of the early weekdays as they were empty. On Thursdays and Fridays we ventured to local towns, and stayed on site for the weekends. We took a trip to St Tropez this time, which is absolutely fabulous.
This is a quiet and relaxing campsite. It was clean and well looked after. Some of the pitches are very large here however most are average size. The campsite is in a good area if you want to explore the Cote D’Azure. The beaches are not far from the site and I would definitely recommend canoeing on the river (which was free). The shop at the campsite was well stocked and had fresh bread everyday. The restaurant served a good selection of food, although was slightly pricey. If you are on a budget, I would suggest going to the supermarket, which is only about a mile from the campsite, and cooking your own food in your accommodation. The swimming pools were popular, as was the play area although we still managed to get a sun lounger on most days we visited the pool. We definitely hope to return here soon.
Had a great time at Les Pecheurs. We stayed with Eurocamp who have really friendly courier reps. The campsite is very peaceful and there is lots of shade, which makes it great for families with young children, like us. The toddlers swimming pool was ideal for the little one’s and they had plenty of fun with the buoyancy aids we purchased from the site shop. The shop also sold fresh croissants every morning, although you will need to go the one of the local supermarkets if you want to do a full shop. The campsite is around 15 minutes from the nearest sandy beach at St Aygulf. There is a beach at the lake, but we found it a bit dirty, and our kids preferred to swim in the pool anyway.
Campsite is in a good location for exploring the area, beaches are close by, local supermarket is walkable distance. Pitches were average size, but felt quite private, although due to the trees, our pitch didn’t have much grass. The trees did however shade our mobile from the sun, which was a bonus, as we didn’t opt for the extra air conditioning in the static caravan. The weather was scorching throughout our stay, which always makes or breaks a holiday. The swimming pools were also warm, with plenty of room for lounging around them. The restaurant had great pizza and the wine tasting was superb. Would definitely recommend Les Pecheurs for quiet and relaxing holiday.
