Le Parc de Fierbois reviews

The Palmer Family | July 2014

We stayed at this campsite for one week with our children, 12, 10 and 4. The campsite is amazing. The facilities were great and there was lots of things to do. We spent a lot of time by the lake as you are allowed to swim in it. You can also fish in it (mostly small carp), as well as hiring pedalos. There are two swimming pools at the campsite, one indoor, one outdoor. The outdoor one has some great water chutes and slides. The campsite also has a good selection of food options, including a restaurant and takeaway, and the shop onsite is also well stocked and reasonably priced. There is also a bar, which is great for relaxing at the end of the day! The area around the campsite is really scenic, and there are a number of great châteaux’s in the area that are worth a visit. We liked this campsite so much, that we have just booked our next holiday there with Canvas holidays next July for the bargain price of £623 for the whole family!

The Anderson Family | July 2012

A fabulous campsite in a pretty area with lots to do. The campsite itself is really well looked after, and we could not find any faults. The staff were fantastic, the kids clubs were brilliant, and there were loads of activities to get involved in. The there’s a great outdoor pool with slides/chutes, with a shallow end fenced off for toddlers. There is also an indoor pool as well as a lake that you can swim or fish in, as well as being able to hire pedalos. Our kids loved the pony rides (although there is a separate charge for this). Would definitely recommend this campsite.

The Mordue Family | June 2009

We choose this campsite as it is a Castels campsite, and we have found in the past that their campsites have good facilities, friendly staff and are in great locations, and we were not disappointed. Fierbois is a medium sized campsite. It was nice and quiet when we stayed there in June, as it was only about a quarter full. Our kids loved the pools and slides, and there is even an indoor pool, which was great as it rained for a couple of days. The campsite runs it’s own free kids/animation activities which are supervised, and Eurocamp (who we booked with) also have separate kids and teenager clubs which are free, but unfortunately Eurocamp only do their clubs in July and August, so we missed out on these. But the campsite run clubs were fantastic, so our children were not disappointed.
