Le Brasilia reviews

Le Brasilia campsite, Canet Plage, Languedoc, France

The Mealing Family | June 2015

This was our first visit to the park with AlFresco Holidays. I have two girls age 6 & 3 years and they really loved the site. I was pleasantly surprised about how clean the site was, the staff were constantly trimming trees and bushes and sweeping the gravelled paths.

The campsite is right next to a lovely beach which was fairly quiet during our first week but got busier during the second week (we returned on 2nd July).

The pool was great and what we really liked is the fact that you could visit the pool say 10-11am in the morning and still get a sunbed!!

The entertainment staff were superb, putting on fantastic shows on a daily basis and the kids loved the mini disco! The downside to the holiday (if I had to find one) would be the accessibility to local towns. The town of Canet is close by but only passable by a small boat which stops running at 8pm along with a free train, limiting what you could do in the evening. You can walk to Canet but I would estimate that it is approximately 1.5 miles and taxi are very few and far between. I would advise to hire a car.
We really did enjoy the holiday and will be booking for next year!!!

The Ward Family | August 2012

We went to Le Brasilia in August 2008 and had a great holiday there. All the evening entertainment was outstanding! From the magic acts to dance performers and entertainers for the children. Shows usually started early and ended at a decent time whilst the disco would carry on a little later but it couldn’t be heard from the outside so the campsite remained quiet. The kids clubs where located further away from most of the mobiles which was another good aspect and le Brasillia sits directly on a long beach which was often quiet and really clean.

Can’t think of any negatives to take away from this holiday. Perpignan, in which we flew into, is a lovely town with palm tree’s flowing through street after street, it was so clean we felt we was in California! so take a day trip or venture around before you leave the area.
Would suggest this campsite suit all ages, down to it’s lovely location, great entertainment and facilities.
