Le Belledonne reviews

If you are looking for a really scenic holiday, then I would recommend La Belledonne in the Alps. It truly is stunning, nestled in a valley, you feel like you are a million miles from home. The campsite is so relaxed and peaceful, so it’s ideal for families with toddlers or older families. There are three heated pools (one is a paddling pool), as well as a whirlpool and sauna. There are also a number of sports activities available as well. We spent most of the holiday either by the pool, playing tennis, fishing and exploring the mountains. The campsite also has a small shop (bit expensive), restaurant (reasonably priced), takeaway and bar (which is by the pool). 10/10!

This was our 8th year at le Belledonne. We come back here because the area is so beautiful, the campsite is wonderful and the staff are really friendly. The mountain air is so fresh and the whole place has a relaxed atmosphere, so you feel like you’ve had a proper holiday. If you don’t fancy exploring the mountains, there’s still plenty of things to do at the campsite. There is a great swimming pool complex, tennis court, volleyball and a fitness circuit.

The campsite is clean and well cared for by the owners, and we’ve also had fantastic accommodation with Eurocamp, this year we even had decking! I really cannot recommend this campsite enough, it’s the perfect place to if you want to get away from it all and relax with your family.
