Lanterna reviews

Lanterna Resort, Porec, Croatia

The Chadwick Family | June 2013

This campsite is huge, so keep hold of the site map they give you when you arrive, as you will definitely need it for the first couple of days whilst you find your bearings! The Lanterna park is right next to the beach, but like all of the beaches in the area, it's a pebble not sand beach, so we did all of the sunbathing around the swimming pools. Also, if you didn't know already, there are quite a few naturist beaches in the Lanterna area, but they are well sign-posted, so you won't accidentally stumble upon one unless you wanted to.

Our kids had a fantastic time here (9 and 12 year old), and spent most of there time in the children's club. The park is well equipped. There are three supermarkets and six places to eat. Our particular favourite was the grill, but they all had good food and were reasonably priced. There are some permanent market stalls at the campsite too.
