Domaine de Drancourt reviews
Château de Drancourt, St Valéry, Picardy, France
We have stayed at this campsite many times before and will continue to do so, as it’s a very convenient stop over site as it’s easier to get to from the channel tunnel. As the campsite is used to having a of stop overs, they have become very efficient over the years we have been going there. The pitches vary in size and privacy across the site, so it’s a bit of the luck of the draw, but we’ve yet to stay on a pitch that we weren't happy with. The toilets and washing facilities are kept spotlessly clean, and the campsite shop offers a good selection of food and essentials, and the restaurant has a good choice of food at reasonable prices.
Just back from a wonderful holiday at Chateau de Drancourt. Normandy is a very pretty region and this campsite complements its surroundings. There are lots of sandy play areas that your children will love, as well as the crazy golf. The swimming pools were great, but quite cold. There is a shop, but we thought it was overpriced, so we only bought fresh bread from it, as the supermarkets near to the site are very cheap. There are lots of things to see and do in the area, but the kids favourite was definitely the day trip to Disneyland!
