Castell Montgri reviews
Castell Montgri campsite reviews - L'Estarit, Costa Brava, Spain
We have just returned from a two week holiday at Castell Montgri, we have two children aged 13 and 7, and they both had a fantastic time. There are two swimming pools with slides (one near the bottom and the other near the middle of the campsite). We were slightly annoyed however that you had to pay 4 euros for a sunbed, especially when our kids barely used them as they were in the pool all the time. We went to Estartit a couple of times as the restaurants there were cheaper and had better service than the one at Castell Montgrie. We also had a few barbeques at our mobile home (if you are staying with Keycamp they are provided, otherwise you can hire then from the campsite for 10 euros). We Will definetly be coming back here and will probably choose Keycamp again as the reps were very helpful, the homes had the best plots, and the clubs they provided allowed the kids to mingle with more of their own age without being too shy and reserved.
Lots to do at this campsite. Castell Montgrie is quite hilly and the facilities are spread across the campsite. At the lower level there is a restaurant, two bars, shops, cinema and swimming pool. All of the main entertainment is on the middle level, as well as the panarama pool. The nearest town, Estartit, is only a 10 minute walk away were-there are plenty of cheap restaurants and shops.
Just back from our eurocamp holiday in Castell Montgrie and we had a fabulous time. Lots to do in the area, kids loved the trip on the glass bottom boat. The campsite it’self has a good pool and great evening entertainment, which is what a holiday is all about for us. I can’t recommend a campsite any more than this one, go and see for yourself!
